Onam Pookalam @ Home - 2011

Making pooklam is an integral part of the Onam celebration. In the early good old school days we used to collect flowers from our houses and the near by houses. But things have changed and now a days its hard to find flowers at homes. But making a pookalam in front of the house almost holds the sae importance as of the olden days. Here are the snaps of the pookalam made at my home. Enjoy! Please feel free to comment on the pookalam.
